I was born with athletic abilities and you could say that fitness is in my bones.  Nonetheless, there was a period of time in my life, roughly from ages 22-40, when I was sedentary until a friend shamed me into taking up yoga.  The changes to my body were dramatic.  As my muscles developed, a new shape emerged along with a sense of empowerment.  It was the beginning of my own physical re-awakening and a path that quickly led to career in personal fitness training.

Welcome to my world.  My goal is to share with you the joys and frustrations of my own experience and to offer you practical solutions that will work for you. You can expect professional guidance and support, tips to keep you on track, and encouragement to pursue a lifelong habit of fitness.   

In private practice since 1988, I work with clients ranging in age from 13 to 95.  Together we  explore their individual needs and create programs to suit their lifestyles.  We are rewarded with successes and challenged with set-backs, but the most important thing is that we keep on going, one foot in front of the other.  Please come along and share the journey.
